Who we are

This policy explains how H2 Evidence, part of the Healthmatic group (“H2 Evidence”, “we”, “us”), collects and uses personal information through h2evidence.com. We are the controller of that information under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Address: Redman Road, Porte Marsh Industrial Estate, Calne, Wiltshire SN11 9PR.

For anything to do with your personal information, contact us at sales@h2evidence.com or on 01249 822063.

What this website does not do

You cannot buy anything on this website, and it does not take payments or card details.

Information you give us

Enquiry form

What we collect: your name, email address, phone number and the nature of your enquiry.

Why: to reply to your enquiry and, where it leads to one, to quote for and deliver services.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to people who ask us about our services), or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

Each submission is stored in the website’s database and emailed to our team, who may also hold it in our email and business systems while dealing with it.

Information collected when you visit

Visitor identification (Lead Forensics), only with your consent

With your consent, we use Lead Forensics, a business-to-business visitor identification service. It looks up the IP address your visit comes from to identify the organisation it belongs to, and records which pages were viewed. It tells us which organisations visited, not which individuals, and we use it to understand which councils, businesses and other organisations are interested in our services, and may contact that organisation about them. It loads only after you choose “I agree” or switch on Analytics in the cookie banner. Lead Forensics acts as our processor; see leadforensics.com/privacy-policy.

When it runs, the Lead Forensics script also connects to partner services that help it match a visit to an organisation, including LiveIntent (idx.liadm.com), Demandbase (tag.demandbase.com, api.company-target.com), Sovrn (pxdrop.lijit.com) and a.usbrowserspeed.com. Those services receive your IP address and browser details and handle them under their own privacy notices.

Visit statistics

The website keeps its own visit statistics using the WP Statistics plugin, stored on our own server and not shared with anyone. It records pages viewed, referring site, browser, approximate country and your IP address. It sets no cookies. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in running and improving the site.

Server logs and security

Like any website, our hosting servers log requests (IP address, date and time, page requested and browser) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.

Fonts

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads. Google states that it does not use this to build profiles or for advertising.

Cookies

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you agree to cookies beyond those needed for the site to work. Nothing in the Analytics or Advertising categories runs until you agree. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie preferences link.

Who we share information with

  • Our website developer and host, Independent Web Marketing, who build and maintain the site and host it on Cloudways servers, as our processor.
  • Our email service providers, which deliver form submissions to our team.
  • Lead Forensics and its partners, as described above, only with your consent.
  • Other companies in our group, where your enquiry is better handled by them.
  • Professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Visit statistics are kept only for as long as they help us understand how the site is used. When we no longer need information, we delete it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or transfer it. You can object to our use of it on the basis of legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent at any time (for cookies, through the cookie preferences link). To use any of these rights, email sales@h2evidence.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the way the website handles personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
